I am Canadian and have lived half of my adult life in Hawaii and California and British Columbia, Canada. The youngest of four daughters raised on products from the garden and sea – Vancouver Island, B.C. My foundation was strong in health because I never got sick or so I thought. Unfortunately, I was unaware that getting sick is part of health because it is a way of spring cleaning the body, also elimination is a way of cleansing and removing toxins. I was unaware that this process of elimination should be repeated after every meal. I held on to everything! This unawareness was leading me towards disaster.
I went through two marriages and introduced two wonderful sons to this world and retained my health. I was working as a real estate broker on my motor vessel in Inner Harbor, Victoria, B.C. We had a crew of five, a four bedroom float home, a custom limousine office, plus a water view apartment with car for our customers and gave seminars on board with 100% success rate. Life was fast and successful until my younger son was abducted at the age of nine. My life was turned upside down crashing my immune system. I was able to function only 3 hours a day while trying to deal with adrenal burnout, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia and a broken heart. The doctors said “you have a disease you will learn to live with it” which meant I was destined to die.
At this point in my life I was introduced to a doctor from the states, Dr. Mick Hall, N.D. who offered a road back to health using only natural products. I embraced this modality and released my profession, my relationship, my residence and life as I had known it. I became a ballroom dancer and concentrated on what makes my heart sing. It took 15 months of intense cleansing and balancing mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionally to bring myself back to the real world. I started my career as a Natural Health Consultant and was asked to return to California as “A Light at the End of the Tunnel” for my naturopath’s patients. This second chance at life has escalated me on my journey to give back to the Universe.
I am presently working with a wonderful group of people at Health Direct supporting the education on Wellness.
