Fibromyalgia Exhaustion and Pain is a Daily Struggle
Fibromyalgia
Fibromylgia was recentlly discussed on a video by two women who experienced Fibromyalgia Symtoms. They went through the extreme pain of daily living, the Chronic Fatigue and Depression. They were elated that they were able to cope and I was eager to relate to them until they announced the medications they were ingesting to cover their symptoms. Yes many medications can disguise your symptoms but when you have a headache it is not because you are deficient in aspirin! What is the cause of the symptoms? What went wrong? In almost every case of Fibromyalgia or Chronic Fatigue, two usually go hand in hand, you will find a trauma. A death, divorce, move or some life altering experience that has wiped out the immune system will cause us to fall victim to any virus, bacteria or parasite that we encounter.
Approximately 20 years ago I was a realtor working 24/7 in a boat in Inner Harbor in Victoria, B.C. My nine year old son was abducted and taken to California. If someone had reached in and tore my heart out the pain would have been less. When every avenue of his return was exhausted I threw myself into my work until one night at a Gala Event as I sat watching and drinking coffee my body said no more. The next morning my Adrenal Glands refused to take a charge and I was barely conscious except for a shaking three hour window. My memory was also shaky and I could barely get through the painful moment I was experiencing.
I was sent to a specialist by my doctor and was given paperwork on Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue. When I asked what the steps to recovery were he said “it is a disease you have to learn to live with it”. I was on my own! Fortunately, my chiropractor asked about my Depression and told me of a visiting Naturopathic Doctor who had revitalized one of his patients. I reluctantly agree to call him immediately to get a blood screening done. During my live blood screening Dr. Mick Hall stated that I was like a person who had not slept for 3 days and 3 nights. I was a walking Zombie. I started to convulse in tears – finally someone understood what I was going through.
Dr. Hall’s approaches to recovery were simply clean out and build. I was given the necessary supplements to get my bowel functioning and build my immune system but it takes a balance of the mental, physical, spiritual and emotional aspects of the body. The physical recovery was to come first and was very slow and tedious. I got off all processed and canned foods and the only cooked food I ate was homemade soups. I was cautious to take enzymes with everything I ate to keep my body in a healing mode. Nothing takes more energy from the body than digesting food on its own. Due to lack of brain function I had to put my regiment on flash cards and set my alarm so I would know when and how many supplements to take. Although jumping on the rebounder felt like a meat cleaver going through my head I was adamant about getting my lymph moving. I also scheduled in 3 detox baths a week to help remove the heavy metals and toxins that were inhibiting my recover.
It took me 15 months working with Dr. Hall’s products and a Fibromyalgia & Chronic Fatigue support group we formed in Victoria before I was back to functioning like a human being. We started teaching classes to bring anyone back from any illness by putting the body in a position to heal itself. The body has the innate wisdom to do what is necessary to sustain vibrant health – we need only to cooperate with it.
Before leaving Victoria I became a Natural Health Consultant, worked for a Physical Therapist, Alzheimer Patients, Health and Body Care Consultant at Lifestyle Health Market then proceeded to California to be a Health Coach and Light at the End of the Tunnel for Dr. Hall’s patients. I now have my own website advancedcleansingsystems.com that gets patients started at cleaning out before building out. You would not put paint over termite eaten wood then why would you put medications in a body without a foundation?
My passion is to be here for anyone experiencing the debilitation that I went through. My process was like boot camp but we have come a long way since I became ill. We now have a process that will bring most everyone back in two weeks before setting out on their own to live the life they were meant to live.
