Digestive Enzyme Supplements have been on my mind today because I have been getting so many calls regarding digestive problems.  I have been taking natural digestive enzymes called Primagest for twenty years and feel that everyone else must be doing the same but obviously they are not.  On the road back to health I am aware that  Enzymes are probably one of the most important tools if not the most important.  Let me start very simply so you will understand why I won’t leave home without natural enzymes tucked away for myself and anyone else that I may be sharing a meal with.  In fact at one family Thanksgiving in San Jose I passed out digestive enzyme supplements to 35 family members.  I wanted them alert, not sluggish, after the meal so we could enjoy their participation.

You see nothing takes more energy than digesting a meal.  We can digest a meal without supplements because our body draws on our metabolic pool to do the job but that means taking it away from its regular job of healing the body.  We rob Peter to Pay Paul and many of us fall asleep during the process.  Digestive Enzymes are essential to help break down your fats, carbohydrates, proteins etc. while also helping to extract the nutrients from your food.  It is important to monitor what we eat but more important to make sure we can assimilate what we eat!  Another bonus with Digestive Enzymes is that when taken on an empty stomach they help with allergies by cleaning your blood of undigested food particles.  Polluted blood is circulated throughout our body including the brain so when we start losing are car keys then we realize that we haven’t been diligent in taking our Digestive Enzymes.
