Probiotics is one of my favorite subjects. I think it is because I was in dire need of a good Probiotic when I was very ill. I was having problems digesting my food, my stomach was distended and bloated most of the time and my immune system was compromised. I was introduced to Dr. Hall’s Nutri- Dophilus - an excellent Probiotic twenty years ago and a superior Probiotic today. Whenever I give a talk on Probiotics I always explain there is a “Fungus Among Us”. Without the correct balance we create the perfect medium for parasites to dwell. We all have good and bad bacteria in our intestinal tract. The trick is to keep it around 80%-85% good bacteria. In the average person this is usually reversed to 80%-85% bad bacteria. A Probiotic like Nutri-Dophilus is going to help restore the balance in your body and assist in reducing the bloating and distention while building your immune system. Antibiotics, while necessary in some cases, will wipe out the bad and the good bacteria. It becomes extremely important to build up with the Probiotics immediately after using the antibiotic.
I like to take Nutri-Dophilus with my fiber Baltone. Taking the two together assures that the Nutri-Dophilus will be carried through to the lower colon where it is most needed. Without the fiber Baltone it is suggested to take it on an empty stomach. If you have been exposed at any time to food poisoning rather than wait for nature to take its course simply take two Nutri-Dophilus as quickly as possible and repeat every two hours. Nutri-Dophilus works quickly and completely with bacterial poisoning if the symptoms aren’t subsiding, check with your physician.
The regular use of a Probiotic and dietary changes, it appears , can prevent yeast infections as well as help the digestive tract function. Even infants can prosper from the use of Probiotics for viral diarrhea. There are many who have tried supplements for a urinary tract infection like cold pressed cranberry capsules with olive leaf to no avail. I have found the missing link to recovery to be a trusted Probiotic. There are many Probiotic distributors who do not specify how they are to be stored. I feel much more comfortable knowing this living bacteria is kept in the refrigerator to extend it’s shelf life.
