Colds and flus are a natural response for the body to do Spring cleaning even if it is not in season. It is necessary for us to understand what is really happening and how to properly deal with them to maintain our overall health. Now that we are aware that the body is on our side. The attempt to cleanse itself or balance the fluid chemistry by releasing chemicals, metals, accumulated undigested food resides and old body waste through the bloodstream should be welcomed. We will certainly proper in the long run.
I am going to list the following steps that I hope will make you think twice about supressing these symptoms.
1. First sign of a running nose or sore throat take a detox bath. This bath will open the pours and pull out the toxins and heavy metals that you body is trying to eliminate. The sooner the better.
2. Flush your system with at least 3 quarts of water during this time. Try to stay with pure water because it works best as a solvent to dissolve and remove waste from your body.
3. If you not used to colonics or enemas then at least 16 ounces of prune juice should flush out your colon. This stops the recycling of tox fluids being drawn from the fecal matter into the lympth and blood causing headaches, muscle and joint pain as well as running nose, sore through and lung congestion. Headaches are the first sign that toxins are building up in your colon.
4. Take a break! Your body has enough work to do getting you back in shape without you putting extra stress on it. Take it easy and let the body do what it has the innate wisdom to do. Let’s cooperate here.
5. Build your immune system. Take as much vitamin C as you can without getting diarrhea. Continue taking it throughout the day. The minimum for daily use is 3,000 mg so you know this has to be increased drastically.
6. Do not encourage detoxifying from the tissue by juicing especially with fruit juice. Try to eat as little as possible at this time. Take digestive enzymes when you do eat and also take them on an empty stomach to clean your blood. Try to drink at least three or four cups of cooked vegetable broth throughout the day. This will nourish your body while letting your body catch up to the detoxification process.
Take time to count your Blessings. This is just a wake up call that your body has work to do. The more time we have validating this knowledge the less down time we have to spend in recovery. I had to learn the hard way I hope I can be “A Light at the End of the Tunnel for Vibrant Health for you!
